GearView reads telemetry data from fitness devices that you connect to via Bluetooth. None of this data is saved, shared or sold.

GearView uses no passwords or other personal identifying information.

About Bluetooth Device Usage

GearView asks other Bluetooth devices to provide information. These devices can choose to respond or deny these requests.

GearView sends no information about your device to any other Bluetooth device.

📣 Some devices may send back a pairing request number. GearView doesn't use this type of connection. You can safely dismiss this request.

GearView reads heart rate (beats per minute) from a connected heart rate monitor. All other data from this hear rate monitor is ignored. Other apps, such as Zwift, can connect to GearView to get a retransmission of this heart rate (beats per minute). No other fitness data including blood oxygen, AFib or ECG is ever used or retransmitted.

🔬 GearView maintains connections when in the running background to ensure data history graphs are properly recorded.
